Maclean is well known on the court in his hometown of Dumaguete City, Philippines. He has been dominating the sport as early as 6 years old, peaked in his college years, and is currently holding the 11th national position in the Philippines Men’s Singles Rankings and 13th in the Men’s Doubles Ranking according to the UNIFIED TENNIS PHILIPPINES.
He was also a varsity tennis team member at the University of Santo Tomas, a well-reknowned school in the Philippines. He played five (5) Seasons and was a three-time Champion in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), one of the most prestigious athletic leagues in the Philippines. In his last season playing in the UAAP, not only did he bring home the gold, but he was also awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Maclean did not only excel in playing the sport but has extended his gift and talent by coaching young kids to adults. He started his coaching experience in 2011 in Beijing, China. In 2014, he also coached at Fujairah Tennis Club United Arab Emirates.
He has a strong passion and genuine love for the sport and wants to share his skills and knowledge with others.
